My Story Madame Grace

The whispers of the angels

Madame Grace at her antique writing desk

I was born just outside Bath, into a family that valued literature, music and old traditions, where the heavens first opened to me.

It was my grandmother who introduced me to astrology, through a collection of antique ephemerides and celestial almanacs kept in the drawing room. I would sit beside her as she traced the movements of the planets, and something in me understood their quiet language long before I had the words for it.

Discovering my gifts

In time I studied the zodiac in earnest, alongside the symbolic traditions and the lore of the angels. I learned that the stars mark the seasons of our lives, their patterns and their timing, and that the oracle cards could reveal what remains hidden and unspoken beneath them. Slowly I developed my own way of working, combining the three into a single, gentle conversation with the heavens.

Above all I came to trust the quiet presence of the angels. They do not frighten or command; they offer signs, protection and a gentle redirection when we have lost our way. To hear them, I found, one needs only to grow still enough to notice what has been there all along.

I have always believed that astrology shows us the path, but that we still hold our own free will. The heavens describe the weather of a life; they do not dictate how we walk through it. That distinction has stayed with me, and it is what allows me to be honest about a difficult planetary season while never leaving anyone without hope.

"My dear, the heavens are not punishing you. They are asking you to notice what your heart has been trying to tell you."

The turning point

For many years I read only for family and close friends. The turning point came when a dear one, in the middle of a painful divorce, told me that a single letter I had written her, reading the stars and the cards together, had given her back her composure when nothing else could. It was not excitement she felt, but relief. I understood then that this was the true purpose of the work, and that I was meant to place my gifts in the service of others.

My mission

Today I prepare my readings from a quiet Georgian house in Bath, at an antique writing desk overlooking the gardens. I work most often with women who feel overlooked or uncertain, and to each of them I offer the same thing, help to:

  • Understand what the heavens are revealing about their path and their timing
  • See clearly what the oracle brings to light about a difficult decision
  • Notice the signs and gentle guidance their angels are offering them
  • Find reassurance, dignity and emotional clarity in a season of change

Every reading I offer is written by hand, as private correspondence rather than an automated report, and infused with genuine care. Astrology reveals the path. The oracle reveals the truth. The angels help us walk it.

Whether you are facing a crossroads, longing for a sign, or simply feeling called to look up at the heavens, I would be glad to walk a little of the way with you.
